So, we are hoping that you have read about Sally Farm and what we do to be more sustainable, our vision is to reduce our carbon footprint and aim towards the Net Zero. It can be very difficult in farming especially when the size of Sally Farm in about 600 acres.
We love the challenge, but the challenges can be made easy when we are passionate about wanting to be a Farm that leads by example. We want to show case Sally Farm how to go off grid, work towards NET ZERO, make all of our farming sustainable and high welfare.
The start of the BIG shift to going OFF GRID starts with our gate house, they say success comes from small steps to achieve a big goal, all-be-it our Gate house is a small one, working with the Team at Venco Energy UK, they have taken it OFF GRID.

Our aim is to take all of our buildings off grid and initially give them buildings, like the chicken sheds, Solar arrays and battery storage.
Its an exciting future for Sally Farm, our next project will be the Visitors centre, so that we can showcase how and what we do to the general public, not only that but also educate other farmers and young farmers of the future on how sustainable farming can be done.
